Recipes of the week

Ok guys! I know a lot of you have been asking about my most recent posts so here they are! Enjoy 😊 

Bacon and garlic Brossel sprouts:

INGREDIENTS 

1) 20 broussl sprouts cut into halves 

2) 2 strips of bacon

3) 1 garlic clove crushed 

4) 1 onion 

5) 2 table spoons of olive oil

6) 2 table spoons of balsamic vinegar 

7) sea salt and black pepper 

  DIRECTIONS 

  1. Place all broussl spouts in baking pan 
  2. Add bacon, garlic, onions, olive oil, salt, pepper and balsamic on top of broussl sprouts and mix together 
  3. Bake for 15 minutes on 350 degrees then stir bake for another 15 minutes 
  4. Once cooked broil for 2 minutes to obtain that crispness 
  5. Serve 

  
Marinated porshuito wrapped Asparagus: 

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1/4 cup of coconut oil
  2. 1 tablespoon of raw honey
  3. 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar 
  4. 1/2 Clove of garlic
  5. 14 asaparagus 
  6. 7 slices of porshuito 
  7. Black pepper 

DIRECTIONS 

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees 
  2. Place coconut oil on baking pan 
  3. Bundle asaparagus into 2’s and wrap together with porshuito 
  4. Whisk together honey garlic and balsamic then add on top of asapagus
  5. Sprinkle with black pepper 
  6. Bake for 25 minutes and serve 

 

Steak Scewers:

INGREDIENTS 

  1.  Pineapple
  2. Cherry tomatoes 
  3. Purple onions 
  4. Bell peppers 
  5. Steak of choice 
  6. 1 table spoon of olive oil 
  7. Steak spices 
  8. Cinnamon 
  9. Chopped garlic 
  10. 1 table spoon of honey 

DIRECTIONS 

  1. Cut steak into 2 inch cubes 
  2. In large resealable bag combine olive oil, honey, garlic, steak spices, steak. Seal and place in fridge for 6/24hrs to marinate   
  3. Chop pine apple into cubes and dip in cinnamon 
  4. Preheat oven to 350 degrees before cooking 
  5. Chop veggies into cubes and add to wooden skewers as desired combing the steak cubes and pineapple 
  6. Place skewered in oven for 5 minutes one side flip and cook other side for another 5 minutes remove from oven and serve warm

Coconut protein energy balls:

INGREDIENTS 

  1. 1/2 cup almond butter (or other nut butter)
  2. 1.5 cups unsweetened shredded coconut
  3. 8-10 dried black figs, stems removed
  4. ½ cup of nuts of choice I used mixed
  5. 1 tablespoons raw honey
  6. 2 scoops of chocolate protein powder 
  7. 1 table spoon of coconut oil 
  8. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

DIRECTIONS 

  1. Add all ingredients to a food processor (except for the nuts and cocnut) 
  2. Grind nuts then add to mixed ingreidients 
  3. Let ingredients mix until dried figs are completely broken down and incorporated
  4. Shape mixture into bite size balls
  5. Roll in coconut until completely covered 
  6. Place in the refrigerator to help harden.
  7. Consume.
  8. Keep leftovers in the fridge!
